someone else, you will have succeeded"

A need was discovered and action has been taken. The homeless have many, many needs, but one that is often forgotten is the need for dry and warm socks. We know that there is a great need for socks as more Canadians than ever are homeless and living in poverty.

In Toronto, socks are donated to St. Michael's Hospital located in a core area for homeless. In Montreal, Dans La Rue is the recipient of many pairs of socks, footwear and clothing. In Winnipeg, socks are collected and delivered to Main Street Project and in Vancouver, several facilities including St. Paul's Hospital, Covenant House, Triage and Lookout and Pine Street Free Clinic benefit from this vital initiative.

This year alone, over 12,000 pairs of socks have been distributed nationwide.
