Women in colleges and universities across Canada are in danger - they are in danger because they do not have the education and awareness of date rape.

A Sexual Assault Awareness campaign will be launched in Montreal as a model for other Canadian Universities and Campuses. The campaign is being designed to create awareness and provide educational materials and resources for students. Watch this space for more details.

JWIC is planning a conference on this issue in early November in Montreal. This conference is intended to bring together direct service providers, educators, law enforcement officials, students and members of the legal profession to share best practices and to learn more about this critical issue affecting young women on our campuses.
